We are a family-built motorcycle shop in Andrews, North Carolina, dedicated to honest service, genuine hospitality, and keeping fellow riders safely on the road.
Built by riders, for riders
Switchback Cycles grew out of a father and son who spent years riding, wrenching, and helping friends and neighbors keep their bikes running strong. We chose Andrews because we love the mountain riding community and wanted to create the kind of shop we would want to walk into ourselves: friendly, transparent, and welcoming to everyone, whether you ride a V-Twin, metric cruiser, or dirt bike.
Straightforward service and direct communication
When you bring your bike to Switchback Cycles, you deal directly with the mechanics turning the wrenches. We take the time to listen, look into the problem, and discuss practical options before starting any work. No pressure, no unnecessary upsells, and no treating you like a work-order number—just dependable advice and skilled maintenance you can trust.
Growing a local motorcycle family
For us, this is more than just turning bolts or selling gear. We want Switchback Cycles to be a gathering place for Western North Carolina riders. During riding season, we host Sunday morning group rides open to all makes and models, alongside family-friendly cookouts and community events where riders of every skill level, families, and kids can feel right at home.
